Belvedere Café was born from a dream I carried with me from Poland, to bring the warmth, tradition, and flavors of authentic Polish cuisine to the heart of New Britain’s Little Poland.
Since opening our doors, my goal has always been simple: serve fresh, homemade food made with love, and treat every guest like family.
From hand-made pierogies and hearty soups to our famous potato pancakes, every dish at Belvedere is a tribute to the recipes I grew up with and the community that welcomed us.
Growing up in Poland, I learned to cook alongside my mother and grandmother, using fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes that brought everyone to the table. When I came to New Britain, I dreamed of sharing that same warmth and tradition with the local community.
To me, this restaurant isn’t just a business — it’s my way of sharing a piece of home.
